Eri (絵理) was one of Kagome's three best friends in modern-day Japan.
Physical Appearence
She looks similar to Kagome but her shoulder length black hair and headband are different.
Personality
She is all about Kagome's relationship health. She never fails to bring up Kagome's potential boyfriends (Inuyasha and Hōjō) and isn't afraid to give her full opinion of them.
At first, she along with Yuka and sometimes Ayumi didn't support Kagome's relationship with Inuyasha and kept telling her it would be best if she'd break up with him, thinking he was nothing more than a delinquent. However, after finally meeting Inuyasha she along with Yuka and Ayumi immediately changed their opinion of him and now fully support Kagome's relationship with Inuyasha.
Trivia
- Ayumi, Yuka, and Eri were all names given to the girls by Sunrise, the anime company who produced the series. Rumiko never officially gave the 3 girls names in the manga. However, she did name Hōjō.
- Despite her name not being mentioned in the manga, Eri's and Yuka's name are somehow shown in the InuYasha profile book.[1]
- In the English dub, Eri has the same voice actresses as Sōta Higurashi.
