Hitomi Shrine (人見神社[1], "Hitomi jinja") is the place where the deceased miko Hitomiko and her Shinkan master[1] once lived.

TriviaEdit

  • The name of the shrine Hitomi is derived from Hitomiko's name. Although they are having the same pronunciation by following the hiragana, each of their kanji are different; Hitomiko (瞳子) and Hitomi (人見). Also, the pronunciation has been previously used for a character's family name, Hitomi (人見), whom Naraku disguised himself as the young lord of the Hitomi castle.
