Hiyoshimaru (日吉丸, ひよしまる, "Bounty of the Sun") is Amari Nobunaga's pet monkey.

HistoryEdit

Kagome was bathing in a lake near Kaede's village, and Hiyoshimaru was ordered by his master to steal their belongings, Inuyasha and Kagome quickly followed Hiyoshimaru. Nobunaga received the Kagome's belonging, realizing that it was strange female clothing. After introducing and clarify the misunderstanding, Kagome gives food to Nobunaga and Hiyoshimaru (which they both eat and appreciate the same way). When Nobunaga fell into a canyon, Hiyoshimaru remained asserted and did not fall. Later when Nobunaga was reunited with Princess Tsuyu and she recognized him, Hiyoshimaru started doing pirouettes on the head of his master.

After they rescued the Princess, Nobunaga and Hiyoshimaru parted ways with Kagome and Inuyasha. Immediately after, Nobunaga once again fell into the same canyon.
