The Thunder Brothers (雷獣兄弟, らいじゅうきょうだい, "Raijū Kyōdai"), also known as the Thunder Beast Brothers, were two demon brothers, named Hiten and Manten. They and their sister Sōten were the last surviving members of the Thunder Demon Tribe. However, the Thunder Brothers were much stronger than their little sister, who instead had developed her tactical genius to compensate for her small stature and lack of raw power. The Thunder Brothers often kidnapped attractive women, both human and demon, and used them for food and sex respectively. They killed Shippō's father to obtain a shard of the Shikon no Tama. Manten made himself a sash with Shippō's father's hide (a belt to remember killing the father). Shippō tried to get revenge on them by stealing shards of the Shikon no Tama from Inuyasha and Kagome, but instead ended up working alongside them to kill the Thunder Brothers (though Inuyasha did most of the fighting). Both of the Thunder Brothers were ultimately killed by Inuyasha.
