Ryūjin's shield (竜人の盾) was a weapon used by Ryūjin. Created with the help of Ryūjin's own scales, it is not only extremely resilient but also has the ability to drain demonic energy. It was destroyed when Inuyasha used the Kaze no Kizu.
Powers & Abilities
The shield redirecting energy.
- Demonic Energy Absorption: The shield has the ability to absorb huge amounts of demonic energy by merely touching the person or thing it wants to drain energy from. It can even absorb direct attacks of powerful demonic energy such as the Kaze no Kizu (Wind Scar) with no damage whatsoever.
- Demonic Energy Redirection: The shield can redirect any energy it has absorbed back at the enemy whenever it pleases, as a powerful energy wave. However the shield needs to have absorbed a substantial amount of demonic energy to do it.
