hey Just was looking over this and saw that the previous editor listed the IRL shrine as the Higurashihachiman Shrine 日暮八幡神社 in Ito which frankly is a pretty good distance from Tokyo. However there is a very similarly named Higurashishirohige Shrine 日暮白髭神社 that is located in Matsudo, a suburb of Tokyo thats about 20 km Northeast of the present day imperial palace.
