I was reading and it said that people thought that Hojo was a reincarnation of Inuyasha or Koga. It would make sence seeins as how Hojo loves Kagome. I think it makes sence. But I would think he would be the reincarnatio of Akitiki Hojo. The are both health nuts (as Kagome calls them) plus they are all crazy about Kagome. Akitoki even got his wife to change her name to Kagome. I wonder if Hojo is a reincarnation of either of them? Well if you have any

== InuYasha Edit

InuYasha has to be the best anime I have ever seen! It is totaly the best, even it was my 1st anime i have seen every episode exept for the final act, i hope that is out in english SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the **** happened to this page?

Spoiler warnings Edit

Was editing the Miroku page and noticed the spoiler warning at the beginning -- something that was missing on both Kikyou and Kagome's pages.

Should we add the 'spoiler tag' to the top of every character page or do what a lot of fan wikis do and make the spoiler warning on the front page more prominent?--Theseventhl 20:34, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

infobox Edit

For all characters who don't have infoboxes! !! we need to add them. Main, Supporting, Deceased, Alive, Filler Cannon, all ofthose characters need infoboxes and canon ages. Teach me how to add one and i will do it for all of the characters --KiumaruHamachi 18:41, January 27, 2010 (UTC)KiumaruHamachi

I just copy and pasted the infobox on other characters and changed and added new info. That's how I got it for Kikyo, Sesshomaru, Izayoi, and Kagome. SayuriDarling 21:50, January 31, 2010 (UTC)

But we NEED ALL characters will infobox if u want this place to become popular. --KiumaruHamachi 23:19, January 31, 2010 (UTC)KiumaruHamachi

Then help me find some Kanji's for characters and more info. SayuriDarling 03:40, February 6, 2010 (UTC)

official ages Edit

i have most of the official ages of the characters. I will post them soon. Also what's wrong with Inuyasha's Inofbox? --KiumaruHamachi 20:42, March 20, 2010 (UTC)KiumaruHamachi

--KiumaruHamachi 21:04, March 26, 2010 (UTC)KiumaruHamachi

It's not necessary to delete the logo at Home page because it's not a fanart. I just get it from Inuyasha official website, nothing else. Sango 珊瑚 08:00, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

New Main Page Edit

Thank you to all the editors who helped. Here are some suggestions:

  1. The character boxes could be moved to a template to conserve space. Like {{Characters}} or something like that.
  2. Another important thing is the character pics. I think we should focus more on the character's face. At present, Kagome, Kirara, and Koga look okay, but the rest need good face shots. It'd be amazing if someone could upload them. Did something, feel free to replace the images.
  3. Slider pictures: I think the slider only allows pictures which are 673 x 410 pixels. I have uploaded one, we need two or three more.
  4. Also, I think the characters could be moved up and placed above the Featured article column.

What do you guys think? Ryoga (talk) 07:14, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

I'm huge on templates. The templates stay. --KiumaruHamachi 13:14, December 27, 2011 (UTC)KiumaruHamachi
The Slider requires images that are 660x360 or larger. It'd be helpful if people could upload more. I've temporarily removed it until we get proper images for it. セレナ(Rin & Sesshōmaru) 20:06, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

Inuyasha's father Edit

I have been watching inuyasha for past few months. I am so addicted to it. I have a question. Why didnt inuyasha's father use tensiga to revive his life ? Thanks for your answers :)

If he was already dead, how would he have been able to use it?--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 19:29, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
He could have asked sesshomaru or some one else to save his life ?
Maybe he didn't think it was worth the effort.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 22:17, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
I think even Sesshyś mother can revive him. Except if the meido stone can only revive someone whose body is still intact. 21:20, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

Years in the Season Edit

Even though the series lasted 6 seasons just how many years have passed when Kagome released Inuyasha from the tree to when they finally defeat Naraku? RinxXxSessh 00:39, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

I believe it took a year from Kagome's 15-year-old birthday (3rd year junior high) to her entracnce of senior high school.InuYaksha月夜叉 01:17, October 25, 2014 (UTC)

Roleplaying Edit

Geez, I feel bad this is like my first edit here... But anyway. I didn't see anything in the rules about Roleplay being allowed in any shape or form (of course, this is a Canonical Wiki) and it occured to me: If someone starts roleplaying on other Canon Wikis, they usually have a link to a Roleplaying Wikia on that particular subject. So I was wondering, perhaps you could put the Goat City Wiki on the front page, and send people there if they start annoying everyone else with roleplay.

Inuyasha ROCKS!! Best manga and anime series of all times.

I am currently considering putting up a page on feudalsim in Japan. I am learning about it in my history class, I am finding not only that I already know some of it from watching Inuyasha, but that it helps me understand the anime show better. I think that this would be useful to many people and help them better understand how Inuyasha's world works. I will try to put something together, unless I get a lot of negativity. Also, Some of the minor characters, who only appear once, do not have images. If someone could upload this, it would be great! 17:38, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Manga pictures. Edit

I'm currently making it my official project to finish/create every article page of the manga chapters. I would appreciate help gathering pictures from the chapters on their respected pages.

I have no idea where to get the manga online without getting 1 zillion viruses. I own the books, thats been my source, and I don't have a scanner unfortunately. Anyway, if someone would take the time to find a single defining screenshot (err, page shot?) from each chapter I edit/create, that'd be awesome. This is probably a shot in the dark that'll get no responses since we have a shortage of users, though... All well. Lets give it a try!

Heartbeat Edit

There should be an article about the heartbeat effect which is sometimes seen on the series. Galzigler (talk) 02:00, March 24, 2013 (UTC)

And an article about the moon, which by the way is always full, on the series. I think it was once explained on one of the movies, I think the second. Galzigler (talk) 17:28, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
What do you mean the "heartbeat effect"? And the moon is always full when Kaguya is active, which is only in the second movie.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 17:34, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
I don't remember what it's used for. Sometimes in the series it's used. I think it happens only to demons. In background there is a sound of heartbeats, and the character has some sort of waves coming out of it, making the image a bit blur. I think it meant to show the character is alive. I remember it happend a few times to Inuyasha. Galzigler (talk) 18:56, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
I'm sure that's just part of the special effects; I don't think that that's an actual thing that merits an article.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 19:21, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

Drama CDs Edit

I've looked through this wiki and noticed there don't seem to be any articles about the various Inuyasha drama CDs.  I'd like to write up some pages for them summarizing their plots, however I'm not sure how I should title the pages, as none of the CDs were released in English.  I didn't know if it would be preferable for me to use the Japanese titles (e.g. "Shi wo Yobu Onsen Shiritori"), or if it would be preferable to title them with an English translation ("The Deadly Hot Springs Shiritori Game").  The Japanese title would be easier to search and relate back to the source material, as it's a transliteration of the original title, but it would be more difficult for a casual reader to identify just what the article is supposed to be without clicking on it.  The English title would be more difficult to search since there is no official, or even widely-used, English translation for most of these titles due to their obscurity, however it would be easier to read.  Both would appear on the article itself, I just didn't know which would be preferable to give "top-billing". Fast Moon (talk) 00:26, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

If its Japanese content without widespread English circulation, use the Japanese name. If that's what people are familiar with, that's what people would hypothetically be typing into search engines. I would provide in-article translations though, of course, just so people know what it means.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 00:57, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

Kohaku in Sesshomaru's group Edit

I saw the Characters' boxes on Main Page recently and I think we should add Kohaku to Sesshomaru's group, what do you think? Itsuki (いつき) (tườngemail) 12:18, March 11, 2014 (UTC)

I'm inclined to agree with you, since that's where Kohaku was at the end of the series as well as for most of the Final Act. However, for most of the series he was part of Naraku's group, so it's really up to what people think is most important: perception or fact. In most people's mind, when one thinks of Kohaku, one thinks of him being part of Naraku's group, but in actuality he ended up working with and was ultimately loyal to Sesshōmaru (after shortly working with Kikyō).Lord HyōgaTree of Ages 14:29, March 11, 2014 (UTC)
Chao Itsuki, for me Kohaku is suitable listed into "other characters (supporting characters)" section, which included Kikyo, Totosai and Myoga. :v 珊瑚留言 12:51, March 12, 2014 (UTC)
But we don't have a section like that; at least not yet.Lord HyōgaTree of Ages 14:27, March 12, 2014 (UTC)

Shikon no Tama Edit

Though Naraku is the main villian ain't it the Shikon no Tama?

In the last episode it's reveal it was using Naraku and everyone else to cease in the world! And it talked!

Zackgood (talk) 02:50, October 24, 2014 (UTC) zackgood

Shikon no Tama is basically an "object" to realize others' wish, then it turns either good or evil according to its user. In Episode 25 (FA), it was Naraku's final wish that cast Kagome into the eternal darkness between borders. So we may infer that the jewel might not be a "villain".
However, it is true that everyone (including Naraku) looked as if they were manipulated by the Shikon no Tama during the fight over it.
This is indeed an interesting question, I shall make a copy to the Answers wiki as well! (Since there are countless similar questions being asked recently)InuYaksha月夜叉 01:17, October 25, 2014 (UTC)

InuYasha is kinda cuteEdit

InuYasha is really cute. I wonder how old he is. 14:18, September 21, 2016 (UTC)#Inu-Kiyowashere09/21/16

InuYasha x Kagome Edit

InuYasha and Kagome are honestly the cutest couple. but i think if Kagome was a demon, it would make more sense. good choice, InuYasha! Arinapeace (talk) 16:51, November 15, 2016 (UTC)ArinaFrost11/15/16
