The Undead Ogre is a character from the third InuYasha movie, Swords of an Honorable Ruler.

History

It initially appeared to challenge Inuyasha after he and his brethren were restored by Sō'unga. It was killed and then resurrected as a mindless specter as a result of Sō'unga's power. The Ogre was then possessed by Sō'unga after Inuyasha was freed of the later's control. The orgre and Sō'unga traveled to Inu no Taishō's tomb to obtain Sesshōmaru's severed left arm. The ogre and Sō'unga then traveled to the grave of Takemaru of Setsuna in order for Sō'unga to possess him as a new host. The ogre provided Takemaru with Sesshōmaru's arm in order for him be able to wield Sō'unga. During a battle between Inuyasha's group and an army of undead soldiers, the ogre obtained Tenseiga for Sō'unga after it had left Sesshōmaru's possession (It also took Rin and Kagome with him as Rin was holding on to Tenseiga at the time and Kagome was near Rin).He took them Tenseiga and the girls to Takemaru. As Kagome and Rin escaped Takemaru's chambers, the ogre was waiting to kill them. Kagame managed to dissolve its head by throwing an enchanted bead at it. It was soon killed after being sliced in half by Inuyasha's Tessaiga.
